Staycation at Ramada resort Kochi

This time I set out to experience staycation within the city. During my month long visit at Kochi , I decided to take a break and unwind . Due to the pandemic, I preferred not to travel far but was in search of a resort within the city limits. The search ended up at Ramada resort by Wyndham near to Kumbalam lake. This property was very much within the city limits and it was quite easy to reach there.

Upon reaching there….

Right at the main gate ,there was temperature check for everyone in the vehicle. The lobby was spacious and the check-in formalities went like a breeze. All our baggages were sanitized and brought to our room. I would suggest you to book a room with lake view if your budget allows. Though some of the amenities were closed for renovation, I was happy to enjoy the long swimming pool and other facilities. It also house a fitness centre, spa and ayurvedic centre catering to the needs of the guest. The resort offers a tranquil and serene atmosphere facing the Kumbalam lake. Prior to the pandemic, boating facilities were also available within the resort. When I visited the resort , some of the restaurants were closed for renovation. The silent and picturesque atmosphere of the lake relaxes our mood and is ideal for honeymoon and random staycations. The staff were friendly and helpful. One could easily find a way to relax in the resort even with kids. There is a small swimming pool area for the kids as well. The swimming is one of the main attraction as it is quite long with varying depths from 4.3 feet to 5.5 feet. The pool overlook the lake and by the evening the ambience is further enhanced by fancy lights.

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The resort is a 5 star property and they tried their best to keep up the standards .

I’m sure that those who are desperately waiting for a break from hectic lifestyle can plan a random staycation here. Another factor that impressed me is that they are following all the covid protocols and guidelines making our stay comfortable and safe.
