So far I have not seen much foundations suitable for normal to dry skin in India. The market is just flooded with matte finish foundations. Though few brands promote their dewy finish foundations, somehow it is not welcomed by the masses and ultimately they are vanished from the beauty space. Sometimes the price bracket plays the villain , most of the dewy foundations are available at mostly skyrocketed price in India , also some avoid it because of the fear of being ended up in an oil drenched look .
The thought of writing a review for L.A girl pro.coverage HD long wear illuminating foundation arised , when I repurchased it. Usually I do it ,when I am so sure of it.
The requirement was simple , a smart dewy look foundation which has a good staying power. This foundation met my expectations and I repurchased it recently. I use the shade ‘fair’. I wanted to try ‘porcelain’ shade but didn’t get the nerve to try it since it was an online purchase. Had it been from a physical store I would have definitely bought that shade during repurchase . But I was quite satisfied with the shade ‘fair’. I believe it will suit most of you, if you are fair to medium fair. They have got 13 shades and it does very well cover all Indian skin tones. It provides medium to full coverage and it gives a natural dewy glow. This is by far the best foundation I have come across. I’m sure everyone will be in awe especially if you have got normal to dry skin . The brownie point is that they have got white shade to lighten or adjust the tone of any given foundation. I didn’t have to use concealer , a dash of this foundation and a tinted lip balm will you give a natural dewy look.
