Easy Bread Pudding recipe
The other day I was wondering what to do with the leftover bread pieces which were in bit dry state. I searched for various recipes and followed many of them . Finally I made it according to my own whims. If you are searching for easy bread recipes, this will definitely guide you.
Ingredients
Bread slices – 6 pieces
Egg – 4 nos
Milk – 2 cups
Butter – 75 gm
Caster sugar/granulated sugar – 1/2 cup
Cinnamon powder – 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence – 3 drops
Raisins – 2 tbsp
How to make it
Cut the bread slices into 1″×1″cubes and spread evenly on a baking dish.
Sprinkle raisins over bread.
Melt butter and pour all over the bread spread.
Whisk 4 eggs separately and add it into a mixing bowl.
Add milk, cinnamon powder, sugar into the mixing bowl along with beaten eggs.
Whisk all these ingredients together until they are thoroughly mixed.
Pour this mix into the baking dish containing the bread spread.
Make sure all the bread pieces are dipped in the mix.
Preheat oven at 180 ℃. Bake at 175 ℃ for 45 minutes.
You will know that the pudding is done when the top portion is bouncy and fluffy.
You can have it by drizzling strawberry or chocolate syrup on top of it or any sauce of your choice such as custard sauce.
Pro tip: If you let the mixture to absorb into bread pieces before baking for about 15 minutes ( you can utilize the preheating time), the final texture will be better.
